This week on Max Out Time: Harvard Medical School’s first documented Black woman student body president, LaShyra “Lash” Nolen, discusses the Coronavirus’ impact on her family, healthcare systems and the greater community at-large.


Nolen is a Fulbright Scholar who has researched the perceptions of chronic diseases such as obesity and diabetes, and is deeply passionate about serving the underserved. So far this year, she has been named a 2020 Young Futurist by The Root and a 40 Under 40 Leader In Health Award Winner by the National Minority Quality Forum.
